Taking a course as a non-degree student

You can start taking courses as a non-degree student...

If you've just found out about our online Master of Education program, or if you're too busy to submit your application in time, you may be able to start taking our courses as a non-degree student. Here's how it works:

1) Contact the project coordinator at dkim12@illinois.edu and inquire which courses you'd like to take.

2) The project coordinator will then ask for instructor's approval.

3) Once the approval is granted, steps will be taken so that you can start taking courses.

4) Once you successfully complete the course and are admitted to the program at a later time, the course(s) you completed can be applied towards your degree by submitting a petition.
